Oracle wins copyright lawsuit against Google over Android Java

In 2012, the victory gave Google won a court could deny that Oracle copyright claims Java API packages in Android

But in an appeal hearing took place due to the appeal of the recent Oracle, Oracle won. The court may allow Oracle's copyright claims 31 API packages (open source applications). API is the software code to help the program to "talk" to each other.
This ruling has huge impact on the software industry. If a firm has been using the software by other companies through the editing API and claims that the other company was imitating its API, the company holding the copyright charges may apply. This will cause the software industry saw many new lawsuits.
Oracle's Legal Director, Mr. Dorian Daley said, "We are very pleased that the federal court rejected Google's attempt to break the copyright protection for computer software. Overall federal perspective is a win for both Oracle and the software industry. As this industry exists based on copyright protection for creative breakthroughs as well as programmers should be protected for their creations. "
Oracle currently not clearly state their views on the handling of Java copyrights in Android. There is some concern Oracle can "difficult" by banning Google Android using Java, if so, Android source code can be rewritten entirely.
However, the high likelihood that the court will look at Java as a form of "essential rights" in the technology sector. That is the copyright owner now has the right to collect money when partners use but is not forbidden them to use the product / copyright. Moreover, the rates must be reasonable, because if the price is too high demand, the use of copyright may sue in court to demand a reasonable price. A typical example is the technology license 3G / 4G.
